Since then, the company has achieved remarkable growth and, today, is one of the leading construction companies in Cyprus with major operations overseas. The company was re-organised in 1990 when Mr. Soteris Anastasi joined the firm. It was awarded certification to carry out projects of unlimited size and expanded in more complex and high technology buildings.
The company was also active in more markets including buildings and civil engineering works in Cyprus, asbestos recovery, land development and, later, expanded on an international basis. Soteris Anastasi, with the support and experience of the founder, Mr George Anastasi, has grown the business into a respectable international organisation, with half a century of experience and supported by a strong foundation.

Establishment of George Anastasi as a construction company
1960
Company approved to work for the British Ministry of Defence
1974
Relocated to Limassol and restarted operations
1977
George Anastasi registered as a Limited Company
1987
Company registered with the Cyprus Council for the Registration and Control of Contractors with License A - entitling the firm to carry out building works of unlimited size
1990
Soteris Anastasi joined and re-structured the company
1995
The Land Development Division of the company established
1996
The Cyprus Asbestos Removal Co - the Asbestos Recovery and Environmental Services Division of George Anastasi - established
1997
The company achieved ISO 9000 certification - one of the first companies to do so in Cyprus
1999
George Anastasi expanded to Gibraltar to carry out British MoD Project
2002
The company joined forces with Charilaos Apostolides Public Limited and established PCG Group (Overseas) Ltd in Gibraltar and later in the UK
2002
Since 2000, and for three consecutive years, the Company received the Health and Safety Award from the Cyprus Ministry of Labour & Works
2006
The company reinforced its land development division and commenced the design and construction of investment retail and commercial projects in Cyprus
2007
The company hit an expected turnover of approximately € 40 million with a workforce of 500. This has been an excellent milestone to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the company which naturally leads us to rebrand by presenting a new fresh and innovative identity that projects the new chapter in the history of the company.
2008
Mr. Solonas Andreou joins the company as the new General Manager replacing Mr. Soteris Anastasi who continues to offer his services as a member of the Board of Directors.
