George Anastasi & Sons Ltd is a construction and developing company with over 50 years experience in the fields of building. Everything was started back in Famagusta in 1957 by Mr George Anastasi.
After 1974, the company relocated to Limassol, reinitiated its activities and soon became one of the most respected construction companies not only locally but also internationally. Relying on the technological skills that the company has formed over the years and also the methodology and techniques applied, the company today offers overall construction solutions. Its annual turnover is £25 million Cyprus pounds and currently is employing over 500 people in Cyprus and abroad.

Construction
The company has successfully carried out and completed hundreds of building projects over the last 50 years. Having achieved a License A to carry out projects of unlimited size, the company has been thriving in its sector successfully completing commercial/retail, housing, public, renovations and restorations, sports facilities, facilities management, medical centres, telecommunications, universities and schools, conference centres and many other projects.

Civil Engineering
The company has a license from the Cyprus Government to carry out Civil Engineering Works of considerable size and complexity. During its establishment, the company has carried out stadiums, small roads, sewage works and generally many civil engineering projects associated with the building projects (such as car parks, squares etc).
Property Development
Since 1995, the company has entered the Land Development Sector with substantial growth during the last few years. We specialise in townhouses, affordable housing, mixed developments holiday units, retail and commercial developments and car parking.
In year 2007, the company intends to build the Anastasi Business Centre and the Anastasi Centropolis, both luxury developments at prime locations in the busy town of Limassol, and benefit from managing them as investment projects. The company also has under development a number of townhouses, comprising one, two and three bedrooms, available for sale.

George Anastasi started its asbestos recovery and demolition services in 1996. The operations commenced concurrently in the UK and Cyprus. In the UK, George Anastasi bought John Laing Plc Asbestos Removal division with another partner (LAR Ltd) and in Cyprus established the Cyprus Asbestos Removal Co Ltd (CAR Ltd). The UK operation was later dispatched (2002). CAR Ltd is now trading in Cyprus and Gibraltar and has carried out projects also in Greece and the UK.
It is a licensed by the Cyprus Ministry of Labour to work and remove asbestos materials and all its personnel are certified, trained and qualified for this operation. Concurrently with the asbestos removal works, the company undertakes difficult and complex demolition projects.
Some of the projects that CAR has carried out include asbestos removal projects from the British Forces in Cyprus, Chemical Industries in Cyprus, Larnaca and Paphos International Airport and the Athens Hilton.
Facilities Management
Facility management is a service that encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology. George Anastasi & Sons offer maintenance services such as cleaning, plumbing, electrical work, painting, etc or improve the overall appearance of a project.
A full purpose-built standard form package, designed to cover the provision of a wide spectrum of facilities management services from simple to highly complex arrangements. Appropriate for use in both the private sector and public authority work.
